Hi Dawn,

To get traffic to your blog can be many different ways. One of the ways to get traffic to your blog is to add a Meta Tag in the head of your blog's template and then submit your blog to the Search Engines. Another way to get traffic to your blog is to join up a Social Bookmarking site. Please view the area in the forum of recommended Social Bookmarking. Social Bookmarking can get you the traffic that your visitors might be interested in subscribing to your blog and become regular readers like a newspaper subscribtion without the cost. Another way to get traffic to your blog would be pinging your blog. Check out the area in this forum for recommended directories that offer the ping system. If your are interested in pinging and or how to blog ping, please view the area in this forum under video to view how to blog ping. You can write articles and submit to article directories. Using the keywords in your articles and directing the article to your blog can acheive receiving new traffic to your blog. If you belong to social sites that have a blog section on your profile - just give a brief description of your article & lead them to your blog to read all of the details.

I run my blog on TE's & have new users & people that bookmark it. They have gotten tired of seeing the same thing over & over so they see a new post & read it. This is how I have gotten new customers for my business also. They may not be interested in building a business (they already have one) but, they want the product. I have also found people that share some of the same rants or thoughts.
I do the TE's when I am tired & do not feel like thinking. I can also click while I watch a NASCAR race or other show. If I have a podcast I want to listen to then I pull up a few tabs & click while I listen. They also help get your Alexa rank for hits that is BIG if you have your own domain & need to get it found.

Comment on other blogs!!!!!
The only problem with this is I do not comment on wordpress or blogspot because I can not leave a link to my blog. They only link your name to your profile at that community.
